The recipes feed my soul and love of cooking. The bios on the books and characters they were created for, fuels my curiosity for reading more. These recipes are easy to follow and easy to make! As my family friends and neighbors have graciously agreed to be my guinea pigs...I mean taste testers, I have had numerous compliments on the recipes I have tried so far. I have yet to have one complaint! A hit with me and those who sampled them. I even have a volunteer pooch ready to try the homemade doggie biscuits! I didn't even have to twist her paw. She heard me talking to her owner and selflessly agreed to try them. I haven't had an opportunity to make them yet, but I suspect we are looking at the highest approval rating of 4 paws up!I love how Rhonda created recipes around characters from several authors. most personal favorites and others about to become favs. There are The Baroness's Lady Fingers, Sovereign Strudel and Golden Fleece Toffee Brittle from Kris Tualla's Hansen series to Out of This World Souffle Pancakes from April M. Reign's The Mystical Witch Series.
Rhonda takes you on a YUMMY, Magical Mystery tour of terrific books on a culinary train. The bios at the beginning of each recipe, encourages you to check out the books and characters that inspired the dish itself. I've never thought of cookbooks as being as exciting as reading a well written novel. This one does it. It's like each recipe has yet another plot twist to keep you guessing. The recipes are easy to follow, DELICIOUS and intrigues you enough to draw you in.
FYI...If you make the Portal to Pudding Shots, be prepared to make more than one batch! SCRUMPTIOUS!

I think Rhonda Plumoff is the new Betty Crocker. I love her cook books so much. Chocolate!!! What could be better than Chocolate and some side reading as well. Thank you Rhonda for your wonderful cookbooks. I have them all!
A lot of times recipe books have 2 to 5 recipes that might be worth trying. But I found lots to try including for my two fury kids. Instructions were clear, ingredients were ones to be gotten at any grocery store and names of recipes to make you smile.
Another fun and yummy edition of Literary Chocolate! Great for bakers of all levels! Rhonda's books are a treat for the sweet tooth and the heartstrings!
I have been waiting for this book to come out. After going through it last night I went to the store this morning to get some ingredients and can't wait to start making goodies!
